Arizona Cardinals have WR issues with or without Larry Fitzgerald
When it came to making a decision about whether to retire or return for at least one more season with the Cardinals, coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Carson Palmer didn’t dawdle.

A day after the team ended its season,Authentic DeMarco Murray Jersey, finishing 8-8, tearful news conference. A day after that, Palmer wrote an open letter to Cardinals fans via social media announcing he was leaving, Arians announced his retirement during a brief, too.

And now we wait and wonder what wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald will do. Unlike Arians and Palmer, Fitzgerald doesn’t seem to be in any real hurry to let his plans be known. It’s because he either hasn’t decided if he’s coming back to honor the one-year extension he signed in November or if he’s waiting for the right time to say goodbye.

“I don’t have any timetable,” Fitzgerald said after the Cardinals’ season-finale victory in Seattle this past Sunday. “Go golf tomorrow. Tuesday, I’ll play golf. Thursday I’ll play some more golf, play golf again. Wednesday, and we’ll figure it out as we go.”

Last year, we should know something within the next three weeks, it took a month after the Cardinals’ season ended for him to decide to return. If that holds true again, if not sooner.

Earlier this week, Arians offered some insight as to what he thinks might happen. He said his successor likely will influence Fitzgerald’s decision to either retire or return for a 15th NFL season.

“I think it all depends who’s the head coach, who’s calling the plays,” Arians said Tuesday during an interview with Mike Golic and Trey Wingo.

Team President Michael Bidwill and General Manager Steve Keim have already interviewed several head-coaching candidates including Cardinals defensive coordinator James Bettcher, Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz and quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo.

They were scheduled to interview Patriots defensive coordinator Matt Patricia and linebackers coach Brian Flores on Saturday and Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak at some point over the weekend.

“He can still play if the right person’s there and knows how to get him to the game on Sunday,” Arians said. “Don’t overwork him in the spring and training camp because he can still play at a very high level.”

At 34, Fitzgerald just finished his third straight season with at least 100 catches and 1, becoming the oldest player in NFL history to hit those marks. He tied his own single-season franchise record with 109 receptions,000 receiving yards, one shy of leading the league for a second straight year.

In his 14 years with the Cardinals, Fitzgerald has caught touchdowns from 14 quarterbacks. If he was that upset or uncomfortable about the lack of continuity at quarterback, he surely would have worked his way out of Arizona by now.

That could play a part in his decision, or possibly, but the Cardinals can’t be sure who their next starting quarterback will be until the middle of March when free agency begins, not until the end of April after the start of the NFL draft.

Fitzgerald isn’t likely to wait that long before announcing his intentions. If he chooses to return for another season and ends up not meshing with the new coach or quarterback, what’s to stop him from retiring at a later date or even asking for a trade? The Cardinals would almost have to oblige his request.

Whether he stays or goes,Womens Jaquiski Tartt Jersey, however, Jaron Brown and Brittan Golden are each set to become unrestricted free agents and there’s a chance the Cardinals could be without all three of them next season, the Cardinals could be headed for a real problem at the receiver position. John Brown,Womens Eli Harold Jersey, either by their choice or the players’ choice.

The only other two wide receivers with any real experience are third-year pro J.J. Nelson and rookie Chad Williams. Nelson got off to a great start in 2017 but faltered the rest of the way and failed to show any real consistency. Williams, lacked energy and attentiveness, meanwhile, and the team can’t be sure how he will pan out as a third-round pick.

Mix in the uncertainty at tight end,Womens Elvis Dumervil Jersey, and there is more trouble. Jermaine Gresham will likely start the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list after suffering a ruptured Achilles’ tendon in the Week 17 win at Seattle. Troy Niklas becomes an unrestricted free agent in March. Ifeanyi Momah has spent most of the past two seasons on injured reserve.

Factor all of that into a possible Fitzgerald retirement and suddenly, the Cardinals have a lot more to worry about besides just finding their next head coach and quarterback of the future.

One thing seems certain: The Cardinals will be in a lot better shape if Larry Legend decides to stay instead of walking away.

The Raiders have played a “home” game in Mexico City each of the past two years. One of their eight home games also was played abroad in 2014 when traveling to London. The club reportedly will play an international “home” game the fourth time in five years, traveling to London in 2018.

Wednesday when reporting a Raiders home game would be played in London with the franchise likely returning to Mexico City in 2019. Vic Tafur of the Athletic said in November he kept “hearing” the team would play in London in 2018. He reasserted that on Friday, adding it would be a home game.

Official word from the league is expected in the coming weeks. In November,Authentic Delanie Walker Jersey, the Raiders hosted the New England Patriots in Mexico City. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell announced that matchup at a news conference Feb. 1, leading up to the Super Bowl.

Point of order: The Jaguars beat the Bills, 10-3, the first postseason game for either franchise in more than a decade,Womens DeMarco Murray Jersey, in an AFC wild-card game, but this thing lost its historical charm and luster quickly. It went from ugly at 0-0 after 27 minutes to downright heinous in the time and effort it took to net two field goals in the run-up to halftime.

The second half, was only marginally better At least there was an offensive touchdown. This was the lowest-scoring playoff game since Jan. 3, relatively speaking, 1997.

The Jaguars will now head to Pittsburgh next Sunday to face a Steelers team they've already beaten, 30-9, sending the Tennessee TItans to New England for a divisional-round game against the Patriots on Saturday night. The Steelers were housed by the Jaguars, ijn Week 5 at Heinz Field. But do the Jaguars have a chance if they play the way they did offensively against the Bills? Likely not.

On Sunday, the lack of execution, sheer number of coaching errors and painfully un-playoff-caliber moments were plentiful on both sides — and especially in that end-of-half stretch that showed just how flawed these two teams are — even if the Jaguars' ferocious defense gives them a chance.

This game ended in ugly fashion as the Bills tried to drive to salvage a tie or a shot at a win in the final minutes. Bills QB Tyrod Taylor was thrown down hard to the ground on a sack by Dante Fowler, with Taylor’s head snapping back. He remained down on the ground for minutes, before being helped off. Rookie Nathan Peterman, who had a five-INT game in his only NFL start, tended to by the Bills’ medical staff, drove to the Jacksonville 38-yard line before he was picked off by the Jaguars’ Jalen Ramsey to end the Bills’ miracle run.

The game boiled down to two 4th-and-short situations close to the goal line, one for each team. The Bills opted not to go for it on 4th-and-1 from the Jacksonville 3-yard line late in the second quarter. After a wild slew of awful plays, they settled for a field goal.

When the Jaguars got to the Buffalo 1-yard line — the only time all day they entered the red zone — they didn’t hesitate. In a rare display of faith in Blake Bortles by the Jaguars’ coaching staff, they eschewed the run all of EverBank Field expected and called for a play-action pass, with Bortles hitting Ben Koyack (he of the five regular-season receptions) for the game’s only touchdown.

Game. Blouses. That was the difference.

Bortles managed to make chicken salad out of a gizzard of a game by rushing for a career-high and franchise QB record 88 yards. But that was mitigated by the fact he only threw for 85 yards on 12-of-23 passing with some truly awful throws out there. Even screens, checkdowns and open looks proved dicey for Bortles, who somehow won his first postseason game.

Prior to the injury, had 20 incomplete passes (on 37 attempts) and didn't complete a pass longer than 10 yards on 16 second-half throws. Peterman's 14-yard completion late was the fourth-longest play from scrimmage all day for the Bills, Taylor earned a little more trust with Bills head coach Sean McDermott and offensive coordinator Rick Dennison than Bortles did with the Jags’ staff. But he threw an interception, who netted only 263 yards of offense.

but two of the team’s players have been named to the Associated Press’ All-Pro team.,The Detroit Lions only have one Pro Bowler

Cornerback Darius Slay, the lone Lions player selected to the Pro Bowl, who made it as a punt returner., earned first-team honors as a defensive back. He’s joined on the first team by rookie Jamal Agnew

In his fifth season,Authentic Eli Harold Jersey, despite being asked to shadow top receivers almost every week., Slay paced the NFL with eight interceptions and 26 pass defenses

Agnew, was the league’s best punt returner and the only player to score two touchdowns as a return man in 2017. His 15.4-yard average returning punts was the best in five years.,Authentic Elvis Dumervil, a fifth-round pick

Also making the first team were several players with ties to the state of Michigan,Womens Marcus Mariota Jersey, including former Michigan quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, and former Central Michigan wide receiver Antonio Brown of the Steelers., former Michigan State running back Le'Veon Bell of the Pittsburgh Steelers

Updates on Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier’s health have been scarce in the month since he was carted off the field after suffering a frightening neck injury.

WPXI reported that Shazier has feeling in his legs. Shazier was injured on a Monday night game Dec. 4 making a tackle against the Cincinnati Bengals. He underwent spinal stabilization surgery shortly after.,Authentic Marcus Mariota Jersey,Womens Delanie Walker Jersey,Authentic Corey Davis Jersey,In part of a sitdown interview with Shazier’s father Vernon

the Jacksonville Jaguars secured their first win in the postseason since the Wild Card Round back in 2007.,On Sunday afternoon

That's just about the nicest thing that can be said about the victory—a 10-3 win that was decidedly short on offensive fireworks.

the Jaguars may have stumbled upon their best chance of moving on next week against the Pittsburgh Steelers and to the AFC Championship Game.,But in winning ugly
